Library Rules
These regulations are made to make the working of the library successful for the benefit of all students.
General(8 rules)
Maintain Silence
The student must maintain silence in the library.
Library Card
Every student will hold one card, which is not transferable. A book issued for one week, but within a week the students should return the book otherwise a fine is levied.
Duplicate Card
A duplicate card will be issued on payment of ₹50/-
Card Return
Every student should return the card before the session ends.
Transfer Certificate
Students who may take a Transfer Certificate (TC) from the school are requested to clear their library dues in time and return all books.
Before Final Exam
Books issued should be returned before the final exam.

Every student is expected to follow strictly the guidelines given by the librarian.
Borrowing(4 rules)
Book Reissue
A book can be reissued only once.
Library Day
Every class has a day on which the books will be issued. It is compulsory for every student to read books from library.
Overdue Charges
Students can return the books during library period and students who want to borrow a book should fill up the entries on their cards and leave them with the librarian. There will be an overdue charge of ₹2/- per day per book if a book is kept longer than the specified period.
Borrowing Limit
Only one volume can be borrowed at a time. Periodicals and reference books are not issued.
Penalties(2 rules)
Loss or Damage
The loss or damage to the book will be charged along with a special fine.
Book Condition
Books scribbled upon, torn or otherwise damaged, defaced or lost must be paid for at a rate to be determined by the librarian.
