Examination Policies
Terminal Examinations & Tests
Besides the Terminal Examinations, there are other Tests during the academic year. Reports on conduct, application, progress, and attendance are furnished from time to time to parents/guardians to keep them informed about their children's performance in School.
Absence from Examination
A pupil absent from any Examination or Test for any reason will not be re-examined and will lose the marks for that assessment. If absent without grave reasons or prior written permission, they will be regarded as having failed.
Attendance Requirement
If a pupil does not have 75% attendance, she/he will not be allowed to write the examination and will not be considered for promotion.
Progress Report
The Progress Report/Result will be shown only to parents or guardians after every Term examination. It may be withheld for non-payment of school dues.
Order of Merit
Failure in or absence from a subject excludes the student from being considered for the order of merit.
Promotion Policy
Taking all the term examinations is compulsory for promotion. There is no provision for Re-examination or promotion on trial. No examination will be postponed or anticipated for any student. There is no double promotion for any student to any class.
Pass Percentage
For Promotion, a student must obtain a clear pass in major subjects. Pass percentage: Kindergarten: 50% | Class I & Above: 41%

Assessment Structure
Academic Year Structure
The academic year is divided into two terms. Students are evaluated through formal assessments as well as through their daily performance under the Continuous and Comprehensive Evaluation (CCE). Formal assessments are held at the end of each term.
For Classes Nursery to KG-2
The Assessment will be done in Three Semesters.
For Classes I to VIII
Four Formal Assessments are conducted in the academic session:
- Unit Test -1 (UT-1) includes the entire syllabus covered till the test date.
- Half Yearly Examination (HE) is cumulative in nature and includes the entire syllabus of Term -1.
- Unit Test -2 (UT-2) includes the syllabus covered after Term -1 till the test date.
- Annual Examination (AE) is cumulative in nature and will be based on a selected portion from Term -1 and the entire syllabus of Term -2.
For Classes IX & X
There will be Unit Test -1 / Half Yearly / Unit Test -2, and the final term will be conducted as per the ICSE curriculum.
